Industrial engineer and founder of Natural Gum Company, Gilberto Cidreira da Silva, worked for 10 years in his family’s industry, Florpinus Industria Química, and worked in various departments such as production, logistics, quality, crude gum acquisition and finally international sales.

After many years at Florpinus, he decided to leave and open his own company, identifying a need among consumer industries to expand their portfolio of Brazilian suppliers of gum rosin, derivatives, and turpentine.

Currently, Brazil is one of the largest of crude gum in the world and over the last few years, new industries for processing this product have emerged, offering high-quality products producers at competitive prices. 

Natural Gum Company is the only Brazilian company that connects Brazilian producers to consumers abroad. It has had the same supplier in its portfolio for years, charging high prices while the market is increasingly competitive for producers of gum rosin derivatives.

Currently, Natural Gum Company represents the OCQ group (Oswaldo Cruz Química), mainly with international sales in the company BR Resinas, in the same segment, but also with the entire portfolio of the group’s 24 companies.
